Jarā’s Account and the Enthronement of Jarāsandha (जरासंधोत्पत्तिः अभिषेकश्च)
एको होव श्रियं नित्यं बिभर्ति पुरुषर्षभ: । अन्तरात्मेव भूतानां तत्क्षयं नैव लक्षये
eko hi sa śriyaṃ nityaṃ bibharti puruṣarṣabhaḥ | antarātmeva bhūtānāṃ tatkṣayaṃ naiva lakṣaye ||
পুরুষশ্রেষ্ঠ জরাসন্ধ একাই সর্বদা রাজলক্ষ্মী ধারণ ও ভোগ করে। জীবদের অন্তরাত্মার ন্যায় তার বিনাশের কোনো স্বাভাবিক উপায় আমি দেখি না; অতএব তার ধ্বংস আপনাআপনি হবে না—সচেতন প্রচেষ্টায়ই তা সাধন করতে হবে।
