मया हस्तवता मुक्ता नाराचा वैद्युतत्विष: । गाण्डीवसृष्टा दास्यन्ति कर्णस्य परमां गतिम्,“मैं बाण चलानेमें सिद्धहस्त हूँ। मेरे द्वारा गाण्डीव धनुषसे छोड़े गये बिजलीके समान चमकते हुए नाराच कर्णको परम गति प्रदान करेंगे
mayā hastavatā muktā nārācā vaidyutatviṣaḥ | gāṇḍīvasṛṣṭā dāsyanti karṇasya paramāṃ gatim ||
সঞ্জয় বললেন—আমি তীর নিক্ষেপে সুদক্ষ ও স্থিরহস্ত। গাণ্ডীব থেকে নিক্ষিপ্ত বিদ্যুৎসম দীপ্ত নারাচগুলি কর্ণকে তার পরম, চূড়ান্ত গতি দেবে।
संजय उवाच

Sañjaya reports a warrior’s confident declaration of archery prowess: lightning-bright arrows released from the famed bow Gāṇḍīva are said to bring Karṇa to his ‘supreme end’—i.e., to his final fate on the battlefield.
