कर्णनिधनवृत्तान्तनिवेदनम् | Reporting Karṇa’s Fall to Yudhiṣṭhira
तत् तथा प्रकरिष्यामि यथा मां वक्ष्यते भवान् । “तात! आप इस अवसरपर क्या करना उचित समझते हैं? आप ही इस जगतके भूत और भविष्यको जानते हैं, अत: आप मुझे जैसी आज्ञा देंगे, वैसा ही करूँगा”
tat tathā prakariṣyāmi yathā māṃ vakṣyate bhavān |
সঞ্জয় বললেন— আপনি যেমন নির্দেশ দেবেন, আমি ঠিক তেমনই করব। পিতা! এই মুহূর্তে কী করা উচিত বলে আপনি মনে করেন? আপনি এই জগতের অতীত ও ভবিষ্যৎ জানেন; অতএব আপনি যা আদেশ করবেন, তাই আমি পালন করব।
