भारती भरतश्रेष्ठ सेना कृपणदर्शना । “भरतश्रेष्ठ खूनसे लथपथ हुई कौरव-सेना, जहाँकी खेती नष्ट हो गयी है उस भूमिके समान अत्यन्त दयनीय दिखायी देती है
bhāratī bharataśreṣṭha senā kṛpaṇadarśanā |
সঞ্জয় বললেন— হে ভরতশ্রেষ্ঠ! কৌরবসেনা রক্তে লেপিত হয়ে অত্যন্ত করুণ দেখাচ্ছে; যেন এমন এক ভূমিখণ্ড, যার চাষাবাদ সম্পূর্ণ নষ্ট হয়ে গেছে।
