Prelude to Karṇa’s Slaying
रुधिरेणावसिक्ताज़ा गैरिकप्रस्रवा इव । यथा भ्राजन्ति स्यन्दन्त: पर्वता धातुमण्डिता:
rudhireṇāvasiktāś ca gairikaprasravā iva | yathā bhrājanti syandantāḥ parvatā dhātumaṇḍitāḥ ||
সঞ্জয় বললেন—রক্তে সিক্ত তারা গেরুর স্রোতে রঞ্জিত পর্বতের মতো দেখাচ্ছিল। যেমন ধাতুর শিরায় অলংকৃত পর্বত দীপ্ত হয়, তেমনি সেই রথগুলি উজ্জ্বল হয়ে উঠেছিল।
