एवं प्रवृत्ते संग्रामे गजवाजिनरक्षये
evaṁ pravṛtte saṅgrāme gajavājinara-kṣaye
সঞ্জয় বললেন—এভাবে যুদ্ধ যখন প্রবল বেগে চলছিল, তখন সর্বনাশের দৃশ্য নেমে এল; হাতি-ঘোড়া কাটা পড়ল, মানুষও ধ্বংস হল—যুদ্ধের গতি অন্ধ সংহারে পরিণত হল।
