कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line

यथा त्वत्कथितं देव त्रिदशारिविनिग्रहे । तथा च कृतमस्माभ्रि: प्रसन्नो नो वृषध्वज:,“देव! देवशत्रुओंका दमन करनेके विषयमें आपने जैसा कहा था, वैसा ही हमने किया है। भगवान्‌ शंकर हमलोगोंपर प्रसन्न हैं

yathā tvat-kathitaṃ deva tridaśāri-vinigrahe | tathā ca kṛtam asmābhiḥ prasanno no vṛṣadhvajaḥ ||

“দেব! দেবশত্রুদের দমন বিষয়ে আপনি যেমন বলেছিলেন, আমরা তেমনই করেছি; তাই বৃষধ্বজ শঙ্কর আমাদের প্রতি প্রসন্ন।”
