तमनब्रुवन् देवगणा यं भवान् संनियोक्ष्यते । स भविष्यति देवेश सारथिस्ते न संशय:,यह सुनकर देवताओंने उनसे कहा--'देवेश! आप जिसको इस कार्यमें नियुक्त करेंगे, वही आपका सारथि होगा, इसमें संशय नहीं है”
tam anabruvan devagaṇā yaṃ bhavān saṃniyokṣyate | sa bhaviṣyati deveśa sārathis te na saṃśayaḥ ||
এ কথা শুনে দেবগণ তাঁকে বললেন—“দেবেশ! আপনি যে জনকে এই কার্যে নিযুক্ত করবেন, সেই-ই নিশ্চয় আপনার সারথি হবে; এতে কোনো সন্দেহ নেই।”
दुर्योधन उवाच
The verse emphasizes certainty grounded in legitimate authority: when the divine lord appoints someone to a duty, the result is assured. It reflects the idea that sanctioned responsibility carries inevitability and removes doubt.
In the flow of the episode, the gods respond to the Lord of the gods, affirming that whoever he designates for the task will indeed serve as his charioteer, and they state this as an unquestionable outcome.
