पितामह उवाच
When disorder or fear disturbs the world, restoration comes through re-establishing right order—here symbolized by returning to ‘prakṛti’—and through reverent, truthful praise directed to the steadfast divine principle (Śiva as Sthāṇu). Speech used for noble praise becomes an ethical force that stabilizes the community and the cosmos.
Bhīṣma describes a moment after a disturbance: gods, sages, and the worlds regain composure and normal functioning. In gratitude and awe they hymn Mahādeva (Śiva), called Sthāṇu, acknowledging his unmatched power and seeking continued stability.
