Karna Reproves Shalya; Brahmin Reports on Bāhlīkas; Shalya’s Universalizing Rebuttal (कर्ण–शल्य संवादः)
एवं कृते कृतं साहां सर्वकामैर्भविष्यति
evaṃ kṛte kṛtaṃ sāhaṃ sarvakāmair bhaviṣyati | bhārata! tadāhaṃ saṅgrāme yat kiṃcid kariṣyāmi, tat tvaṃ svayaṃ drakṣyasi | yuddhasthale āgatān samastān pāṇḍavān niścayaṃ sarvathā jayiṣyāmi ||
কর্ণ বললেন—এমনটি করা হলে, আমার সকল অভিপ্রায় অনুযায়ী আমি সম্পূর্ণ সহায়তা লাভ করব। হে ভারত! তখন যুদ্ধে আমি যা করব, তা তুমি নিজ চোখে দেখবে। রণক্ষেত্রে উপস্থিত সকল পাণ্ডবকে আমি নিশ্চয়ই সর্বপ্রকারে পরাজিত করব।
