कर्णस्य दानप्रतिज्ञा–शल्योपदेश–वाक्ययुद्धम्

व्याक्षिपन् सहसा तत्र घोररूपे भयानके । नाराचै्निहताश्लापि गजा:ः पेतुर्महाबला:
vyākṣipan sahasā tatra ghorarūpe bhayānake | nārācair nihataślāpi gajāḥ petur mahābalāḥ ||
সেই ভয়ংকর ও বিভীষিকাময় দৃশ্যে হঠাৎই সর্বত্র বিশৃঙ্খলা ছড়িয়ে পড়ল; আর লৌহ-নির্মিত তীক্ষ্ণ নারাচে বিদ্ধ হয়ে মহাবল গজরাও ভূমিতে লুটিয়ে পড়ল।
