कर्णस्य दानप्रतिज्ञा–शल्योपदेश–वाक्ययुद्धम्

ततः किलकिलाशब्दा: प्रादुरासन् महीपते । भूपाल! तदनन्तर उस महासमरमें सहस्रों बाजे बजने लगे और वहाँ किलकिलाहटकी आवाज गूँज उठी
tataḥ kilakilāśabdāḥ prādurāsan mahīpate |
তদনন্তর, হে মহীপতি, হঠাৎই বিজয়োল্লাসের কিলকিলাধ্বনি উঠল। তারপর সেই মহাসমরে সহস্র সহস্র বাদ্য একযোগে বেজে উঠল, আর রণক্ষেত্র কলরবে প্রতিধ্বনিত হল।
