ध्वजा: शिरांसि च्छत्राणि द्विपहस्ता नृणां भुजा: । क्षुरेर्भल्लार्धचन्द्रैश्न च्छिन्ना: पेतुर्महीतले
sañjaya uvāca |
dhvajāḥ śirāṃsi cchatrāṇi dvipahastā nṛṇāṃ bhujāḥ |
kṣuraiḥ bhallārdhacandraiś ca cchinnāḥ petur mahītale ||
সঞ্জয় বললেন—ধ্বজা, ছিন্ন মস্তক ও পতিত ছত্র, হাতিদের শুঁড় এবং মানুষের বাহু—সবই ক্ষুরধার খড়্গ, ভল্ল ও অর্ধচন্দ্র-শির বাণে কাটা পড়ে ভূমিতে লুটিয়ে পড়ল। যুদ্ধের নির্মম বেগে গৌরব ও আশ্রয়—উভয়ই ধূলিসাৎ হল।
