यो ह्ाक्षिपति वीर्येण सवनितान्‌ महारथान्‌ | न मेने चात्मना तुल्यं कंचिदेव नरेश्वरम्‌

sañjaya uvāca | yo hy ākṣipati vīryeṇa savanitān mahārathān | na mene cātmanā tulyaṃ kaṃcid eva nareśvaram ||

সঞ্জয় বললেন—সে এমন ছিল যে নিজের বীর্যের জোরে প্রতিষ্ঠিত মহারথীদেরও তুচ্ছ জ্ঞান করে সরিয়ে দিত, আর কোনো রাজাকেই নিজের সমান মনে করত না।
