वैदूर्यमणिदण्डांश्व पतितांश्वाड्कुशान् भुवि । अश्वानां च युगापीडान् रत्नचित्रानुरश्छदान्
sañjaya uvāca |
vaidūryamaṇidaṇḍāṃś ca patitāṃś cāṅkuśān bhuvi |
aśvānāṃ ca yugāpīḍān ratnacitrān uraśchadān |
সঞ্জয় বললেন—দেখো, ভূমিতে বৈদূর্যমণি-খচিত দণ্ড ও অঙ্কুশ পড়ে আছে। অশ্বদের যুগাপীড় এবং রত্নচিত্রিত উরশ্ছদও চারদিকে ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে। যে ঐশ্বর্য শাসন ও রক্ষার জন্য ছিল, যুদ্ধের ধূলায় তা আজ পরিত্যক্ত হয়ে ধ্বংসের চিহ্ন হয়ে উঠেছে।
