Chapter 12: Arjuna’s suppression of the Saṃśaptakas and duel with Aśvatthāmā

ततो भास्करवर्णाभमञ्जोगतिमयस्मयम् । ससर्ज तोमरं भीम: प्रत्यमित्राय यत्नवान्
tato bhāskaravarṇābham añjogatimaya-smayam | sasarja tomaraṃ bhīmaḥ pratyamitrāya yatnavān ||
সঞ্জয় বললেন—তখন ভীম সর্বশক্তি প্রয়োগ করে সূর্যসম দীপ্ত, লৌহময়, সোজা ও দ্রুতগতিসম্পন্ন এক তোমর প্রতিপক্ষ শত্রুর দিকে নিক্ষেপ করলেন। তা রণমাঝে অচ্যুত বেগে যেন মৃত্যুরই দূত হয়ে ছুটে গেল।
