ततस्तु त्वरयन् योधान् शड्खशब्देन मारिष । कर्णो निष्कर्षयामास कौरवाणां महद् बलम्,मान्यवर! तदनन्तर शंखध्वनिके द्वारा योद्धाओंको जल्दी करनेका आदेश देते हुए कर्णने कौरवोंकी विशाल वाहिनीको शिविरोंसे बाहर निकाला
tatastu tvarayan yodhān śaṅkhaśabdena māriṣa | karṇo niṣkarṣayāmāsa kauravāṇāṃ mahad balam ||
সঞ্জয় বললেন—তারপর, হে মান্যবর! শঙ্খধ্বনির দ্বারা যোদ্ধাদের ত্বরান্বিত করে কর্ণ কৌরবদের বিশাল বাহিনীকে শিবির থেকে বাইরে বের করে আনলেন। তাঁর সংকেত ও তাগিদে সমগ্র সেনা যুদ্ধাভিমুখে সুশৃঙ্খলভাবে অগ্রসর হল।
