सुनीतैरिह सर्वार्थि्दैवमप्यनुलोम्यते । ते वयं प्रवरं नृणां सर्वैर्गुणगणैर्युतम्
saṃjaya uvāca | sunītair iha sarvārthair daivam apy anulomyate | te vayaṃ pravaraṃ nṛṇāṃ sarvair guṇagaṇair yutam |
সঞ্জয় বললেন—এখানে যদি সকল কার্য সুনীতি ও ধর্মসম্মত আচরণ অনুসারে সম্পন্ন হয়, তবে দैবও অনুকূল হয়। অতএব, হে ভারত! আমরা নরশ্রেষ্ঠ, সর্বগুণসমন্বিত কর্ণকে সেনাপতি পদে অভিষিক্ত করব; এবং তাঁকে সেনাপতি করে শত্রুদের চূর্ণ করব।
