Adhyāya 141 — Night duels: Śaineya and Bhūriśravas; Droṇi and Ghaṭotkaca; Bhīma and Duryodhana
भीमो5पि मुष्टिमुद्यम्य वज्गर्भा सुदारुणाम् । हन्तुमैच्छत् सूतपुत्रं संस्मरन्नर्जुनं क्षणात्
bhīmo 'pi muṣṭim udyamya vajragarbhāṁ sudāruṇām | hantum aicchat sūtaputraṁ saṁsmarann arjunaṁ kṣaṇāt ||
সঞ্জয় বললেন—ভীমও মুষ্টি উঁচিয়ে, বজ্রসম ভয়ংকর ঘুষি তুলে, সূতপুত্র কর্ণকে বধ করতে চাইল; কিন্তু সেই মুহূর্তেই তার মনে পড়ল অর্জুনের কথা। তাই সব্যসাচী অর্জুনের পূর্ব প্রতিজ্ঞা রক্ষা করতে, সক্ষম ও শক্তিমান হয়েও, ভীম তখন কর্ণকে হত্যা করল না।
