Adhyāya 141 — Night duels: Śaineya and Bhūriśravas; Droṇi and Ghaṭotkaca; Bhīma and Duryodhana

The verse highlights disciplined order (śreṇī) even in battle: skill and coordination can create striking effectiveness, but the beauty of form does not lessen the ethical gravity of violence—martial excellence must be judged by the purpose and dharmic alignment behind it.
Sañjaya describes to Dhṛtarāṣṭra how volleys of arrows, released in neat formations, streak through the sky in patterns resembling a flock of krauñca birds, emphasizing the intensity and organized ferocity of the fighting.
