न चैव मापकं किंचिद्धृष्ट शंससि संजय । नित्यं पाण्डुसुतान् हृष्टानभग्नान् सम्प्रशंससि,परंतु सूत! तुमने अभीतक मेरे पक्षमें घटित हुई कोई हर्षकी बात नहीं कही है; उलटे पाण्डवोंको प्रतिदिन हर्षसे पूर्ण और अभग्न (अपराजित) बताते हो
na caiva māpakaṃ kiñcid dṛṣṭaṃ śaṃsasi saṃjaya | nityaṃ pāṇḍusutān hṛṣṭān abhagnān sampraśaṃsasi ||
ধৃতরাষ্ট্র বললেন—সঞ্জয়, আমার পক্ষের জন্য অনুকূল এমন কিছুই তুমি বলছ না। বরং প্রতিদিন পাণ্ডুপুত্রদের আনন্দিত ও অখণ্ড—অপরাজিত—বলে প্রশংসা করছ।
