भीष्मवधाय प्रयाणम् — The Advance toward Bhīṣma and Counter-Engagements
दृष्टवा रथस्थांस्तान् शूरान् सूर्याग्निसमतेजस: । सवनिव महेष्वासान् भ्राजमानान् श्रिया वृतान्
sañjaya uvāca |
dṛṣṭvā rathasthāṁs tān śūrān sūryāgnisamatejasaḥ |
savanīva maheṣvāsān bhrājamānān śriyā vṛtān |
সঞ্জয় বললেন—রথারূঢ় সেই বীরদের দেখে—যাঁরা সূর্য ও অগ্নির ন্যায় তেজস্বী, মহাধনুর্ধর, শোভায় দীপ্ত এবং শ্রীতে আবৃত—(প্রতিপক্ষের) যোদ্ধারা যুদ্ধক্ষেত্র থেকে পশ্চাদপসরণ করল; সেই মহাসমরে কেবল তোমার মহাবলী পুত্র ভীমসেনই সরে গেল না।
