शल्यं च पज्चविंशत्या शरैरविव्याध पाण्डव: । रुक्मपुड्खैर्महेष्वास: स विद्धो व्यपयाद् रणात्
śalyaṃ ca pañcaviṃśatyā śarair avivyādha pāṇḍavaḥ | rukmapuṅkhair maheṣvāsaḥ sa viddho vyapayād raṇāt ||
তারপর মহাধনুর্ধর পাণ্ডব সোনালি পালকযুক্ত পঁচিশটি বাণে রাজা শল্যকে বিদ্ধ করল; আহত হয়ে শল্য রণক্ষেত্র থেকে সরে গেলেন।
