तद् गोकुलमिवोदशभ्रान्तमुद्भ्रान्तरथयूथपम्
tad gokulam ivodaśa-bhrāntam ud-bhrānta-ratha-yūthapam | uvāca pārtha bībhatsuṁ nigṛhya ratham uttamam ||
সঞ্জয় বললেন—তখন পাণ্ডুনন্দন যুধিষ্ঠিরের সেই সেনা গোকুলের গোরুর পালের মতো ব্যাকুল হয়ে এদিক-ওদিক ঘুরে বেড়াচ্ছিল, আর্তস্বরে হাহাকার করছিল। বহু রথযূথপতিও কী করা উচিত বুঝতে না পেরে ঘুরে বেড়াচ্ছিল। নিজের শিবিরে এমন বিশৃঙ্খলা দেখে যাদুকুলনন্দন ভগবান শ্রীকৃষ্ণ তাঁর উৎকৃষ্ট রথ থামিয়ে কুন্তীপুত্র অর্জুন—বীভৎসুকে—বললেন।
