पाज्चाल्यमथ संत्यज्य द्रोणो5पि रथिनां वर: । विराटद्रुपदौ वृद्धौ वारयामास संयुगे

Transliteration

Pāñcālyam atha saṁtyajya Droṇo 'pi rathināṁ varaḥ | Virāṭa-Drupadau vṛddhau vārayāmāsa saṁyuge ||

Translation

সঞ্জয় বললেন—তখন রথীদের শ্রেষ্ঠ দ্রোণও পাঞ্চালপুত্র ধৃষ্টদ্যুম্নকে উপেক্ষা করে যুদ্ধে বৃদ্ধ বিরাট ও দ্রুপদ—এই দুই রাজাকে অগ্রসর হতে বাধা দিলেন।
