Bhīṣma–Dhanaṃjaya Duel and the Opening Clash
महता मेघनादेन रथेनामिततेजसा । विनिघ्नन् कौरवानीकं शूरसेनांश्व॒ पाण्डव:
mahātā megha-nādena rathenāmitatejasā | vinighnan kauravānīkaṁ śūrasenāṁś ca pāṇḍavaḥ ||
সঞ্জয় বললেন—মহামেঘের গর্জনের মতো নাদকারী, অমিত তেজে দীপ্ত রথে আরূঢ় পাণ্ডব বীর কৌরবসেনাকে চূর্ণ করতে করতে শূরসেন যোদ্ধাদেরও ভূমিসাৎ করলেন।
