उत्पातवर्णनम् (Utpāta-varṇanam) — Catalogue of Portents
स्त्रिय: काश्रित्प्रजायन्ते चतस्र: पजच कन्यका: । जातमात्राश्च नृत्यन्ति गायन्ति च हसन्ति च,कुछ स्त्रियाँ एक ही साथ चार-चार या पाँच-पाँच कन्याएँ पैदा करती हैं। वे कन्याएँ पैदा होते ही नाचती, गाती तथा हँसती हैं
striyaḥ kāścid prajāyante catasraḥ pañca kanyakāḥ | jātamātrāś ca nṛtyanti gāyanti ca hasanti ca ||
কিছু নারী একসঙ্গে চারটি বা পাঁচটি কন্যা প্রসব করে; আর সেই কন্যারা জন্মমাত্রই নাচে, গায়, এবং হাসে।
