संहतानामनीकानां व्यूढानां भरतर्षभ । संसर्गात् समुदीर्णानां विमर्द: सुमहानभूत्
saṃhatānām anīkānāṃ vyūḍhānāṃ bharatarṣabha | saṃsargāt samudīrṇānāṃ vimardaḥ sumahān abhūt ||
সঞ্জয় বললেন— “হে ভরতশ্রেষ্ঠ! সুসংগঠিত ও ব্যূহবদ্ধ, যুদ্ধোন্মুখ দুই বাহিনী যখন পরস্পরের সঙ্গে সংঘর্ষে জড়াল, তখন এক মহাভয়ংকর ও প্রচণ্ড রক্তক্ষয়ী মল্লযুদ্ধ শুরু হল।”
