भीमसेनो गदां भीमां प्रकर्षन् परिघोपमाम् | प्रचकर्ष महासैन्यं दुराधर्षो महामना:,दुर्जय वीर महामनस्वी भीमसेन हाथमें परिघके समान मोटी एवं भयंकर गदा लिये अपने साथ विशाल सेनाको खींचे लिये जा रहे थे
sañjaya uvāca | bhīmaseno gadāṃ bhīmāṃ prakarṣan pari ghopamām | pracakārṣa mahāsainyaṃ durādharṣo mahāmanāḥ ||
মহামনস্বী, দুর্জয় ভীমসেন পরিঘসম ভয়ংকর গদা টেনে নিয়ে অগ্রসর হলেন; এবং তাঁর সঙ্গে বিশাল সেনাবাহিনীও যেন টেনে নিয়ে চললেন।
