दृष्टवा च पतितं भीष्म॑ पुत्रो दःशासनस्तव । उत्तमं जवमास्थाय द्रोणानीकमुपाद्रवत्
dṛṣṭvā ca patitaṃ bhīṣmaṃ putro duḥśāsanas tava | uttamaṃ javam āsthāya droṇānīkam upādravat ||
সঞ্জয় বললেন—ভীষ্মকে রণক্ষেত্রে পতিত দেখে আপনার পুত্র দুঃশাসন সর্বোচ্চ বেগ ধারণ করে দ্রোণাচার্যের সেনাবিভাগের দিকে ধাবিত হল। সেই দৃশ্য ও আকস্মিক গতি কৌরবসেনার বিভ্রান্তির মধ্যে বিষাদ আরও ঘনীভূত করল।
