छन्‍्दतो मृत्युरित्येवं तस्य चास्तु वरस्तथा । धारयिष्ये ततः प्राणानुत्सगें नियते सति

Transliteration

chandato mṛtyur ity evaṃ tasya cāstu varas tathā | dhārayiṣye tataḥ prāṇān utsarge niyate sati ||

Translation

“অতএব ‘মৃত্যু আমার ইচ্ছাতেই আসুক’—এই বরটি যথার্থই স্থির থাকুক। তাই প্রাণত্যাগের নির্ধারিত ক্ষণ না আসা পর্যন্ত আমি প্রাণধারণ করে থাকব।”
