पार्थहेतो: पराक्रान्तो भीष्मस्यायो धन प्रति । राजन! भीष्मजीके साथ युद्ध करनेमें अर्जुनकी सहायताके लिये पराक्रम करनेवाले सुभद्राकुमार अभिमन्युने राजकुमार बृहद्वलके साथ युद्ध किया
sañjaya uvāca | pārtha-hetoḥ parākrānto bhīṣmasya āyodhanaṃ prati | rājan, bhīṣmajīke sātha yuddha karane meṃ arjunakī sahāyatā ke liye parākrama karanevāle subhadrā-kumāra abhimanyune rāja-kumāra bṛhadvalake sātha yuddha kiyā |
সঞ্জয় বললেন—হে রাজন! পার্থের কল্যাণার্থে বীরত্ব প্রদর্শন করে সুভদ্রাপুত্র অভিমন্যু ভীষ্মের যুদ্ধসম্মুখে অগ্রসর হল। ভীষ্মের বিরুদ্ধে অর্জুনকে সহায়তা করতে উদ্যত হয়ে সে রাজপুত্র বৃহদ্বল-এর সঙ্গে সমরে প্রবৃত্ত হল।
