भीष्मस्य शरशय्या-प्राप्तिः

Bhīṣma’s Fall to the Arrow-Bed

उरःस्थेन बभौ तेन भीमसेन: प्रतापवान्‌

uraḥsthena babhau tena bhīmasenaḥ pratāpavān

সঞ্জয় বললেন—বক্ষস্থলে সেই (আঘাত/অস্ত্র) বিদ্ধ থাকলেও প্রতাপশালী ভীমসেন তবু দীপ্তিমান রইলেন; প্রত্যক্ষ আক্রমণের মধ্যেও তাঁর সাহস ক্ষুণ্ণ হল না, যুদ্ধধর্মের কঠোরতার মাঝে তাঁর অটলতা প্রকাশ পেল।
