Bhīmasena’s Engagement with Multiple Mahārathas
प्रहरस्व यथेष्टं वै दासो5स्मि तव चानघ । “गोविन्द! आज इस युद्धमें मैं तीनों लोकोंद्वारा सम्मानित हो गया। अनघ! मैं आपका दास हूँ। आप अपनी इच्छाके अनुसार मुझपर प्रहार कीजिये” ।।
praharasva yatheṣṭaṃ vai dāso ’smi tava cānagha | anvageva tataḥ pārthaḥ samabhidrutya keśavam |
“হে নিষ্পাপ! তোমার ইচ্ছামতো আঘাত করো; আমি তোমার দাস।” এ কথা বলে পার্থ (অর্জুন) তারপর কেশব (কৃষ্ণ)-এর পিছু পিছু ধেয়ে তাঁর কাছে পৌঁছাল।
संजय उवाच
Even amid battlefield intensity, the verse foregrounds disciplined agency: the speaker submits to Kṛṣṇa’s will (‘strike as you wish; I am your servant’), suggesting that righteous action is guided by humility and acceptance of higher moral/divine direction rather than ego-driven rage.
Sañjaya narrates a charged moment: someone addresses Kṛṣṇa as ‘sinless’ and declares servitude, inviting him to strike if he chooses. Immediately after, Arjuna (Pārtha) runs up to Kṛṣṇa (Keśava), indicating a swift, emotionally intense movement toward his charioteer and guide.
