Marutta Seeks Saṃvarta’s Priestly Support; Conditions, Truth-Discipline, and Rival Powers

संवर्त उवाच आविक्षित शुभा बुद्धिर्वर्ततां तव कर्मसु । याजनं हि ममाप्येव वर्तते हृदि पार्थिव

Transliteration

Saṁvarta uvāca: āvikṣita śubhā buddhir vartatāṁ tava karmasu | yājanaṁ hi mamāpy eva vartate hṛdi pārthiva ||

Translation

সংবর্ত বললেন—হে আবিক্ষিত! তোমার শুভবুদ্ধি সদা সৎকর্মে প্রবৃত্ত থাকুক। হে রাজন! আমার হৃদয়েও তোমার যজ্ঞ সম্পাদন করানোর ইচ্ছা সত্যই বর্তমান।
