The verse highlights ritual dharma: a sacred act should be performed with thoroughness and respect toward all acknowledged guardians and spirit-lords, using appropriate offerings, so that no being is slighted and the rite remains orderly and auspicious.
The narrator describes a sequence of worship in which offerings—kṛsara, meat, and sesame-mixed oblations—are presented to the chiefs of Yakṣas and to the lords of various bhūtas, completing that portion of the ceremonial propitiation.
