पौत्रस्तव महाभागो जनिष्यति महामना: । पृथ्वीं सागरपर्यन्तां पालयिष्यति धर्मत:

Transliteration

pautras tava mahābhāgo janiṣyati mahāmanāḥ | pṛthvīṃ sāgaraparyantāṃ pālayiṣyati dharmataḥ |

Translation

হে কুরুশ্রেষ্ঠ! তোমার এক মহাভাগ্যবান, মহানচিত্ত পৌত্র জন্মাবে; সে ধর্মানুসারে সমুদ্র-পর্যন্ত সমগ্র পৃথিবী রক্ষা করবে। অতএব, হে শত্রুদমন, শোক ত্যাগ কর; এতে আর বিচার নেই—আমার বাক্য সত্য হবে।
