सौदाय उवाच न चैवैषा गति: क्षेम्या न चान्या विद्यते गति: । एतन्मे मतमाज्ञाय प्रयच्छ मणिकुण्डले

Transliteration

saudāya uvāca | na caivaiṣā gatiḥ kṣemyā na cānyā vidyate gatiḥ | etan me matam ājñāya prayaccha maṇikuṇḍale |

Translation

সৌদাস বললেন—আমি যে গতিতে পতিত হয়েছি, তা আমার মঙ্গলজনক নয়; আর এর বাইরে আমার জন্য অন্য কোনো পথও নেই। আমার এই সংকল্প জেনে তুমি তোমার মণিময় কুণ্ডলদ্বয় এই ব্রাহ্মণকে দাও।
