Chapter 57
हस्वेन चैते आमुक्ते भवतो हस्वके तदा । अनुरूपेण चामुक्ते जायेते तत्प्रमाणके,“छोटे कदका मनुष्य इन कुण्डलोंको पहने तो छोटे हो जाते हैं और बड़ी डील- डौलवाले मनुष्यके पहननेपर उसीके अनुरूप बड़े हो जाते हैं
hvasvena caite āmukte bhavato hvasvake tadā | anurūpeṇa cāmukte jāyete tatpramāṇake ||
বৈশম্পায়ন বললেন— “খাটো দেহের মানুষ এগুলি পরলে এগুলি খাটো হয়ে যায়; আর বৃহৎ দেহ-গঠনের ব্যক্তি পরলে তার অনুপাতে বড় হয়ে ওঠে—পরিধানকারীরই মাপ গ্রহণ করে।”
