Book 14, Chapter 43
पार्थिवो यस्तु गन्धो वै घप्राणेन हि स गृहाते । प्राणस्थश्न तथा वायुर्गन्धज्ञाने विधीयते
pārthivo yastu gandho vai ghrāṇena hi sa gṛhyate | prāṇasthaś ca tathā vāyur gandhajñāne vidhīyate ||
বায়ুদেব বললেন—পৃথিবীতত্ত্বের যে ‘গন্ধ’ গুণ, তা নাসিকা দ্বারা গ্রাহ্য হয়। আর ঘ্রাণেন্দ্রিয়ে অবস্থানকারী প্রাণবায়ু সেই গন্ধ-জ্ঞান ঘটাতে নিয়োজিত।
