Book 14, Chapter 43
दीक्षितानां तथा यज्ञो दैवानां मघवा तथा । दिशामुदीची विप्राणां सोमो राजा प्रतापवान्
dīkṣitānāṃ tathā yajño daivānāṃ maghavā tathā | diśām udīcī viprāṇāṃ somo rājā pratāpavān ||
দীক্ষিতদের মধ্যে যজ্ঞই অধিপতি; দেবতাদের মধ্যে মঘবা (ইন্দ্র) অধিপতি। দিকগুলির মধ্যে উত্তর দিকই প্রভুত্বশালী; আর ব্রাহ্মণদের মধ্যে প্রতাপশালী সোমরাজাই প্রধান বলে গণ্য।
