स्थलमापस्तथा55काशं जन्म चापि चतुर्विधम् | अण्डजोद्धिज्जसंस्वेदजरायुजमथापि च
sthalam āpas tathākāśaṃ janma cāpi caturvidham | aṇḍajodbhijja-saṃsvedaja-rāyujam athāpi ca ||
বায়ু-দেব বললেন— স্থল, জল এবং আকাশ—এগুলোই আবাস-ক্ষেত্র; আর জন্মও চার প্রকার— অণ্ডজ, উদ্ভিজ্জ, স্বেদজ ও জরায়ুজ।
