Rajo-guṇa-nirdeśa — Brahmā’s Enumeration of Rajasic Dispositions
मृषा वादो मृषा दानं विकल्प: परिभाषणम् | निन्दा स्तुति: प्रशंसा च प्रस्ताव: पारधर्षणम्
mṛṣā vādo mṛṣā dānaṃ vikalpaḥ paribhāṣaṇam | nindā stutiḥ praśaṃsā ca prastāvaḥ pāradharṣaṇam ||
বায়ুদেব বললেন—মিথ্যা বাক্য, আর মিথ্যা মনোভাব নিয়ে দেওয়া দানও; কূটতর্কপূর্ণ বিতর্ক ও ঝগড়াটে কথা; নিন্দা, তোষামোদ ও প্রশংসা; এবং এমন প্রসঙ্গ তোলা যা অপরকে হেনস্থা বা দমাতে চায়—এগুলো অধর্মের রূপ, যা ধর্ম ও সদাচারকে ক্ষয় করে।
