brāhmaṇy uvāca | nedam alpātmanā śakyaṁ vedituṁ nākṛtātmanā | bahu cālpaṁ ca saṁkṣiptaṁ viplutaṁ ca mataṁ mama ||
ব্রাহ্মণী বললেন—নাথ, অল্প অন্তঃশক্তিসম্পন্ন ও অসংযতচিত্ত ব্যক্তির পক্ষে এ তত্ত্ব যথার্থভাবে জানা সম্ভব নয়। আপনি যে মহাজ্ঞান সংক্ষেপে বললেন, তা আমার কাছে কখনো অনেক, কখনো অল্প বলে মনে হয়; আমার বোধ ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে, স্থির হতে পারছে না।
