Kārtavīrya–Samudra Saṃvāda and the Jāmadagnya Precedent (आश्वमेधिक पर्व, अध्याय २९)
समुद्र उवाच महर्षिर्जमदग्निस्ते यदि राजन् परिश्रुत: । तस्य पुत्रस्तवातिथ्यं यथावत् कर्तुमहति
samudra uvāca: maharṣir jamadagnis te yadi rājan pariśrutaḥ | tasya putras tavātithyaṃ yathāvat kartum arhati ||
সমুদ্র বললেন—হে রাজন, যদি তুমি মহর্ষি জমদগ্নির নাম শুনে থাকো, তবে তাঁর আশ্রমে যাও। তাঁর পুত্র পরশুরাম তোমাকে যথোচিত আতিথ্য ও সৎকার করতে সমর্থ ও যোগ্য।
