अध्वर्यु–यति संवादः
Adhvaryu–Yati Dialogue on Svabhāva, Ahiṃsā, and Mokṣa
इन्धनस्य तु तुल्येन शरीरेण विचेतसा । हिंसानिर्वेष्टकामानामिन्धनं पशुसंज्ञितम्
indhanasya tu tulyena śarīreṇa vicetasā | hiṃsā-nirveṣṭa-kāmānām indhanaṃ paśu-saṃjñitam ||
এই চেতনাহীন, জড় দেহটি যেন কেবল ইন্ধনেরই সমান। অতএব যারা হিংসার প্রায়শ্চিত্তরূপে যজ্ঞ করতে চান, তাঁদের কাছে ইন্ধনই ‘পশু’ বলে গণ্য হওয়া উচিত; যখন ইন্ধনেই কর্ম সিদ্ধ হয়, তখন পশুহত্যা কেন?
