Arjuna’s request to Krishna and the opening of the Kāśyapa–Brāhmaṇa mokṣa discourse (Āśvamedhika-parva 16)
ब्राह्मण उवाच मोक्षधर्म समाश्रित्य कृष्ण यन्मामपृच्छथा: । भूतानामनुकम्पार्थ यन्मोहच्छेदनं विभो
brāhmaṇa uvāca: mokṣadharma-samāśritya kṛṣṇa yan mām apṛcchathāḥ | bhūtānām anukampārthaṃ yan moha-cchedanaṃ vibho ||
ব্রাহ্মণ বললেন—হে কৃষ্ণ, মধুসূদন! সকল প্রাণীর প্রতি অনুকম্পা করে, তাদের মোহ ছেদন করার উদ্দেশ্যে তুমি মোক্ষধর্ম-আশ্রিত যে প্রশ্ন আমাকে করেছ, তার যথাযথ উত্তর আমি দিচ্ছি। প্রভু, মাধব, সতর্ক হয়ে আমার বাক্য শোনো।
