तानागतानभिप्रेक्ष्य समस्तं च सुहृज्जनम्‌ । ब्राह्मणांश्र महीपाल नानादेशसमागतान्‌,अवश्यमेव वक्तव्यमिति कृत्वा ब्रवीमि व: । एष न्यासो मया दत्त: सर्वेषां वो युधिष्ठिर:

tān āgatān abhiprekṣya samastaṃ ca suhṛjjanam | brāhmaṇāṃś ca mahīpāla nānādeśa-samāgatān | avaśyam eva vaktavyam iti kṛtvā bravīmi vaḥ | eṣa nyāso mayā dattaḥ sarveṣāṃ vo yudhiṣṭhiraḥ ||

যাঁরা এসেছেন—সমস্ত সুহৃদ্‌জন এবং নানা দেশ থেকে আগত ব্রাহ্মণগণ—তাঁদের সকলকে দেখে রাজা স্থির করলেন, “এ কথা অবশ্যই বলতে হবে।” অতএব তিনি বললেন—“এই ভার, এই অর্পিত দায়িত্ব, আমি তোমাদের সকলের উপর—এবং যুধিষ্ঠিরের উপর—ন্যস্ত করলাম।”
