धृतराष्ट्र-सत्कारः तथा श्राद्ध-दाने नियमनम् | Honoring Dhṛtarāṣṭra and Regulating Śrāddha-Gifts

प्रियाण्येव तु कौरव्यो नाप्रियाणि कुरूद्गधह:

vaiśampāyana uvāca | priyāṇy eva tu kauravyo nāpriyāṇi kurūdgaḍhaḥ | viparītakaś ca me śatrur niyamyaś ca bhaven naraḥ ||

বৈশম্পায়ন বললেন— কৌরব যুধিষ্ঠির দৃঢ়সংকল্প; তিনি সর্বদা প্রিয় বাক্যই বলতেন, কঠোর ও অপ্রিয় নয়। তিনি ভাইদের ও মন্ত্রীদের বলতেন— “রাজা ধৃতরাষ্ট্র আমার ও তোমাদের সকলেরই পূজনীয়। যে তাঁর আদেশের অধীন থাকে, সে আমার সুহৃদ; আর যে বিপরীত আচরণ করে, সে আমার শত্রু— সে আমার দণ্ডের ভাগী হবে।”
