ह॒त्वाग्निं विधिवत सर्वे प्रययुस्ते यथाक्रमम् । उदड़्मुखा निरीक्षन्त उपवासपरायणा:
hutvā agniṁ vidhivat sarve prayayus te yathākramam | udaṅmukhā nirīkṣanta upavāsaparāyaṇāḥ ||
বিধিমতো অগ্নিতে আহুতি প্রদান করে তারা সকলে ক্রমানুসারে যাত্রা করলেন। রাত্রি-উপবাসে নিবিষ্ট হয়ে তারা উত্তরমুখে, সেই দিকেই দৃষ্টি রেখে অগ্রসর হলেন।
